ADDO’s History

ADDO was established in 2013 in Kabul, Afghanistan, by a group of Afghan volunteer as a NGO to promote democracy values and protect human rights in Afghanistan. ADDO played a key role in advocacy for promoting of the democracy in Afghanistan thorough mobilization of youth groups.

Through activities, such as training workshops and seminars, advocacy campaigns, women education, human rights monitoring and rural community development, ADDO promotes citizen-based sustainable development, democratic values, pluralism, the rule of law and women’s participation.
